I have a retraction to make. The guy who printed out my last set of dyno's made an adjustment that shouldn't have been there so they were 3 hp higher than the standard that I have used in the past. Just another example of dyno's not matching up.
I switched the 80mm to a pro-m 75mm and didn't gain a dam thing. After making all of the fuel mixture changes I could almost line the charts up. There has to be a restriction limiting the air and the precats come to mind. Guess what is coming next.... wink

there might very well be a gain to be found over the stock 70mm MAF with the 12mm bar through the middle of it.
and like he said, he might have a restriction with his precats, so there may very will be a gain.
i hope so, i just ordered one smile

I got a lot of gain with a larger maf. I just said I couldn't get anymore over the 80 I had on with the restriction. With my 65mmtb and 75mm maf my KKM is starting to take on an hourglass shaped so that is a restriction also.

I don't know what all your mods are Kaiser,
but if your exhaust still consist of the stock Y, either change it out completely or have it cleaned up, plus if you still have the stock main cat, gut that bugga.

Oh by the way I was born at KAISER Hospital, Honolulu Hawaii, which was unfortunately knocked down over a decade ago.... wink

Just thought I mention it, your screen name reminded my of my Birth Place

Do not gut the main cat. An expansion chamber downstream will add turbulence and decrease exhaust velocity.

Either remove it or replace it with a high flow unit..

Gutting the main cat is a no-no. I have a msds-y. Found a few things to correct and will dyno again soon...Like my KKM. With the 65mm tb and 75mm maf it is starting to implode. I took it off and drove down the street and my car went so lean it barely ran. And yes I just cleaned it. I'm going to a S&B big mouth I think and most likely 6inches. Feel fairly confident I will break 180 next time.

Kaiser, same bigmouth as 'Stazi by chance? at our recent meet, we noticed FluidSVT's KKM was doing the same, but his MAF and TB are stock.

SILVA BULLITT, is that the hospital that was blown up in a Hawaii 5-0 episode? If so, my older bro was born there, too. 10-11-77

It's true...I think the KKM is way too small....My filter implodes bad off idle with only minor mods....We need a better flowing larger surface area filter....
