so it's not a MTX or SVT but I figure someone may want to see how much ATX Duratec is putting out.
we got 130 hp and 126 lb out of my Cougar which has Weapon R intake and Borla Dual. another ATX with KKM and Borla dual came in at 128 hp and a 3rd ATX Cougar with KKM dual exhaust, and Superchip dynoed at 135 hp. just for comparison, on the same day and same dyno, an all stock 2001 ATX Cougar pulled down 120 hp (119.8).

The MTX boys were getting anywhere from 136 (stock) hp to 158 hp depending on mods. One Cougar with SVT upper (no cams or TB) and dual exhaust pulled a 155 hp which was really surprising.

Visit the Chicago forum, we just had a dyno day. I think a bunch of our guys had ATXs in various configurations.

I hope we that have atx don't lose 40hp an 40tq at the wheel that seem a bit much dose anyone have some real # of a 98 stock se.I look but nothing came up in the search or if there is put a link so i can read it thanks

It's more like 50hp. A bone stock ATX Duratec puts down approx. 120whp. With an intake, MSDS headers, and Borla exhaust mine made 151.5 on the dyno, so there is hope

How did the rest of you do... did Chezterr dyno his car?

Chezterr did dyno his cougar but he only had 100 miles on the engine since he installed SVT upper, lower, and TB. And he had a leak on the upper somewhere we couldn't locate so it wan't running at optimum condition. He dynoed it anyway and came back 158 hp which is not that good considering he also MSDS and 19 lb injector and a cougar with just SVT upper and dual exhaust got 155 hp. we'll need to work on his car a bit more and try again. take care of that leak first...

I have the stock injectors in the car still.. but I do have a leak somewhere in the manifold.. Im gonna take it off and put it back on again, making sure the gaskets are lined up right and I have the bolts torqued properly.
I expected much more power out of it than I got. and I have no idea how Jimmy got 155 without headers....... I will give my computer some more time to learn the mods and then dyno again.
one more reason to get an APEXi and tune the damn thing... I need to save my money for one of those....
