Does anyone use Desktop dyno? I want to use my ver. 2.5 before I start to build a 3 liter.

I have Desktop Dyno 2000. It's really great if you know all the engine dimensions and specifications.
Otherwise it's just a fun toy to guess with...

Yes I've toyed around with several motors... laugh

Relatively inexpensive program made by Mr. Gasket that allows you to set up engine parameters and test them virtually for power/torque, etc.

Demon, in that message I sent you, I was thinking of Performance Calculator , which is significantly more expensive, albeit a MUCH better program. It goes for $649 (the Pro version), but is well worth the money if you can afford it. I think you get free updates to newer versions with the price of admission. wink

I am thinking that how will say cam manufactors know what works. If we say according to my calculations this will work. My older version on pretty close.

I specifically stated it could be backed up to CD. There is nothing illegal with that at all... You can even check it out if you like... laugh

Backing up something you owning is 100% legal albeit video, DVD, CD, tape, vinyl, etc... :p
