Got some SVT struts with about 25k on them. How long does anybody expect them to last with the Roush springs? I read somewhere that the springs were made to work with the stock struts.

Where did you find roush springs? I called roush and they said the didn't make them for the contour????? Can you help me?

they make them for the cougar... the springs are the same on the 98+ cars. ask for the cougar springs. I got them for $120 shipped.

I have Roush spring on Stock SVT struts. They work fine. I have had no problems at all.

how much are the roush springs supposed to lower the car?

How come you can put Roush springs with SVT struts, but if you put any other type of lowering springs on the stock struts you have problems. Am I missing something??

AFAIK, they were made to work with the struts the Cougar came with from the factory. Im sure the spring rates are different than H&Rs, and others. Also, the Roush springs are progressive rate, which I dont really know if that makes a difference or not.
As far as how much they lower the car, Ive heard in the range of 1.2 inches.

No problem. Im buying them tomorrow, and if Im lucky, the guy thats going to istall them will have time this weekend. If not, most likely next weekend.
