Maybe my shocks are bad or something, but my 99 SE Sport already sits pretty low. I took delivery of the car in November 98 with 77 miles on the car. I had a front hub bearing replaced and they said the shocks were fine. It rides fine. I can't imagine having the car any lower.
What is the stock ride height? I will measure later how high it sits. Of course, I am six foot tall and most cars SEEM pretty low to me. I know, lowering equals lower center of gravity which equals better handling (when it's done right with correct springs shocks and alignment kits).
