I tried a search and was unsuccessful. Why would the struts wear out faster with a new set of springs? Since the springs would be providing less suspension travel because of the lowered ride height and increased in stiffness wouldnt that make the strut wear longer since it doesnt have to move as much. What am I missing. Just as a back up; they dont reccomend changing shocks or struts on Volkswagens in the driver gear catalog when up grading to their sport springs(which I would imagine are somewhat stiffer as well as being lower). Please give me the explanation behind why the struts would wear out faster. Thanks Steve
