Fast service! Ordered the brace on Monday, received it Wednesday. It was only available in rice yellow, so I took the bar apart, primered it, and used Krylon Regal Red #7765 - close enough for under-the-hood.

Since it was apart anyway, I installed it in pieces. I lubed the rubber strut boots to ease slipping the mounting brackets in place.

I still have the firewall insulation in place, to it was a bit of a tight fit past the AC hose and brake booster.

I don't think that access to the rear bank of plugs is affected too much, looks like I can still get to the coil pack screws.

After a brief drive, the front end feels a bit tighter and turn-in feels as if it is improved.

Next up - rear brace.
