Are the coilovers supposed to look like they'll fit a tricycle? They finally came in today and they seem really small. I'm not sure if that's how they're supposed to be or not or if I'm supposed to buy other parts to mount it. Will it work with stock struts?

The coils themselves should be 2.25 in diameter. The springs dont need to be THAT long since they fit over the adjustable sleeve. A bigger spring will dimish the "adjustability"

You are going to waste a lot of time or money putting GC's on stock struts that will fail rather quickly! They may not look like much but they do a lot!

Thanks, they are 2.5 in diameter. I read elsewhere on the site that they work best on stock struts though as well as another brand (I think Koni). What kind of struts do you recommend. Thanks alot for you help by the way

Lets beat a dead horse one more time!
After market suspension spring have a very high rebound rate. Stock struts are not made to handle such high rebound rates and will fail rather Quickly. GC's have these higher rebound springs.
The only other struts out there that are made for higher spring rates are Koni's and BAT Inc. struts which are rumored to be Bilstein's.

Thanks alot for the advice. I'm currently in the process of ordering BAT Euro Sport Struts for CTA Motorsports in Canada. They currently have them advertised for $95 each but that price will be finalized on Monday. Is this the cheapest price or do you guys know places where I can get them cheaper. I'm not going to buy the Koni's because I'm sacrificing to buy these struts as it is. Once again thanks for all your help.
