Had H&R's and BAT struts installed in my '99 CSVT the other day. Love the new effect! However, the guys at the shop didn't know to trim the bumpstops as indicated in the orange letter enclosed with the springs. In fact,I did'nt become aware of this until after the fact either. The car handles and feels great. Should I be sweating this detail or be having the job redone properly ? Info, thoughts, opinions ?

H&R's info says 1.4"/1.3", F/R. While I have'nt actually measured it, I would guess that to be correct. Now the BAT struts are matched to their own kit which provides for a 1" drop, so does that mean that things here are just under 1/2 an inch out of whack and do I need to be concerned about f...ing up a new set of struts ?

You won't actually scrwe up the struts, you'll just be that much more likely to hit the bump stops when cornering, and may affect the ride quality.

Didn't trim mine and the ride is perfect!

If I remember correctly trimming them is not necessary.

Ditto for me. I didn't trim mine and couldn't be happier.
