Got the KYB's and Eibach's put on Wednesday. 6 hours labor since the rears are so tough to do on a 98!
Ride around town is much softer and more comfortable than stock (SE), yet cornering is improved. I attribute most of this to the Eibach springs.
The KYB's appear to be well made, and a viable alternative for those who don't want to/can't afford to spend the coin for the Koni's.
