Just had several Sho-Shop Suspension components installed and man, what a difference. The sub-frame connectors, rear sway bar with re-inforcing plates, and the ft. control arm reinforce plates. The car stay's so flat in the turns its unreal. The car has 17" Konigs with the stock struts and springs and still handles better than anything else I've ever driven. Still, Sho-Shop service sucks. Took month and a half to get parts. For those wondering, the bars weighed 23lbs shipped, and are made of 1x2 tubing, so ground clearance is barely sacrificed.

I'll have some pics up by easter weekend. I just had them put on and they made the car feel a lot more solid but unfortunately I don't think I'm getting the full effect because something in my rear suspension is seriously shot...but pics will be up after easter weekend!

You know what's a really nice plus to having the sub-frame connectors? You can use them as jack points. I can have my can up on jack stands in about 30 seconds.

oh, yeah...Ianthin you should paint them now. They are raw steel and will rust

Shaun and others with the subframe connectors,

Did you notice an immediate reduction of any squeaky, rattling, or other noises that were present in your cars before installlation?

How much ground clearance is lost with the connectors? This is probably important to people with lowered cars.

Thanks,

George

I had them installed at Doug's muffler in Mt Clemens.

Definitely felt an improvement in solidity. Basically they allow the suspension to its job more effectively as it seems that the connectors keep the car more "planted".

As for height clearances, they offer a little more clearance than the SVT sideskirts, so they shouldn't pose any real problem to lowered cars.
