The other end has another smaller piece of metal attached with another bolt.
So on one end you just have the hole where you use the stock bolt. And on the other end you have another hole drilled through w/ another piece of metal(W/ hole in it). They act as a clamp to the stock (Welded in plate).
Is that any clearer...I wish I would have taken pictures of it!
