Basically he cut four slits into the top of the tower going from the outer edge to the middle, so now his tower looks like a 4 slice pizza, then he took a BFH and pounded on the towers until they were flat, next is to weld your cuts back up, grind to a nice finish and mount your camber/caster plates.
eek

gutsy...

Sounds like a big install day at Dougs......If someone wants to see if we can us e a bay and a welder....heck I am up to it. I have done bigger modifications than this one....repaired a broken frame (2 spots) on a full size Truck, replaced a rusted frame section on a Mustang....and the list goes on. All we need to do is pull the front struts the night before (like Fri night) that way the mods can begin early sat AM.....cmon lets do this bro.....

So were are you getting the camber pl[ates from?

PS you have to remove the old conical support from underneath the strut tower before you can install something like shown above.

PPS I ask K-MAC if they had anything for aour cars (Australian Suspension Gurus) and they said that noone had ever asked for it, so they hadn't developed anything. They just need a car. Too bad we don't have many Australian members. I only know of 1 actually still living in Australia, andd he probably in the wrong state too.

Ya know I have not heard anything about his adjustment plates. Tehy sounded sweet too.....something to do with the lower control arm I believe.....not cutting /welding needed....but I want to cut and weld something.....something big......something black.....like your car.... laugh
