As noticed in a thread from late December, I see that my experience with front spring noise after this Band-Aid patch was applied is not unique.
My dealer is getting its 4th (and last) chance tomorrow to get it right.
Has anyone had a dealer who did get it right (without removing the whole thing) and can relay to the forum how it was done?
Thanks,
Steve

Well, I had the dealer pay for my replacement Eibach springs through the recall, and no shields were installed at all...
:p
I've heard that several dealers just end up removing the shields altogether due to customer complaints of the noise.

Dealer finally gave up with the shields and installed new springs.
Since it's my wife's comuter car, I wasn't about to go with the Eibachs. (Maybe on my SHO, but not her car
hehe
