I didnt really want to spend a lot of money performance wise on my 98 v6 auto, but this car handles terrible. Will just the addition of a larger swaybar make a big difference?

How many of you are now satisfied with just a larger rear sway bar?

Please help my car out

I am very satisfied with my larger rear sway bar, and its only a 19mm. The loss of body roll during cornering is very noticeable. If you're looking for a drastic change, buy the BAT 22mm one or the Aussiebar.

Aussie bar.

Live it, love it, learn it...

Though starting with a 16mm rear you may want to go to the 19mm. Quite a big jump to the Aussie bar, just by itself...

Do it... Just make sure to take many test drives to feel out your new suspension mod. As many times as you can. Matter of fact just stop to eat and sleep if necessary... laugh

Well, I made the jump. I am very happy going from the little tiny bar that I had to the Aussie Bar. I have yet to be able to do any real stuff (ie: canyon carving) but for the corners I have done, the car now goes where I point it. smile

There is quite a bit less body roll when you wiggle the steering wheel too. Only drawback, I can EASILY lift a back tire going into any kind of approach. Before I had to actually try.

My advice: get a big bar, ie Aussie, BAT, or SCA. The handling improvement is great. But keep in mind that you will need to upgrade the mounts to keep them from pulling out of the subframe  . Not a big deal to upgrade though, you just need someone to do some welding.

Yep, I now reccomend that as well. I managed to pull one of my mounts out of my subframe. frown
