Hey Aussie, are you making the "bolt on" style of backing plates similar/same to that Terry Haines made (if I understood correctly)? Do you think bolt on plates would work as well - I am a bit unclear as to how these plates actually function??

You COULD bolt these on if you want, but I recommend welding them on. My $0.02c

I need a set of these! I think? LOL You are calling it a "backing plate", but does it actually include a plate to weld to the "frame" and then the straps that go around the sway bar? Or is it just the plate behind the bar? I installed BAT bushings on my stock SE sway bar and now have a problem with one of the staps bending strait after a little while. Damn thing is just too weak! Will these fix my problem? If this is a plate and straps, does the plate weld to the frame and then you bolt the strap on both ends to the plate? The tab on the strap seems to be the downfall of my hole set up! Thanks! And if this is what I need I will have another order for you to fill!
