Is there a way to stiffen up the rear suspension w/out lowering the vehicle? I don't want to be a pseudo-snow plow in the winter.

It seems that most car manufacturers set up the rear suspension loads for two people in the FRONT seat. When passengers are added in the rear (sometimes 3 almost adults; yes, it happens!), the vehicle sags enough that night driving wakes the birds in the trees due to headlights being pointed upwards.

My "other vehicle" (rear drive, 4-door, medium-sized sedan) has a beefed-up rear suspension & has to be loaded quite a bit before any sag is noticeable & yes, the ride is a bit boucy but the handling is surprisingly good.

TIA for any replies! smile

Is the smoke alarm in your house also known as the "dinner bell"?
