There's a tolerance at the factory, and each car is different. On mine I was able to replace the bushings (rubber, not poly)without dropping/playing with the subframe. But I did have to grind down a wrench to fit in the narrow space. However, I worked on other cars where it was not possible to get my "mini wrench" in the space. Be prepared.
