It uses 8mm bolts that are pulled up from inside the strut tower. Don't worry nothing has to be removed to install and it comes with detailed instructions (with pictures on how to pull the bolts up from inside the strut tower. I believe it would take a novice about an hour to install. I have installed mine in about 30 minutes when we develoved the instructions over at Random Technology. Thank you,
