The Performance fords Y-pipe is supposed to give you the performance gains, without any drone that everyone's getting with aftermarket catback exhuasts. No dyno results yet, still in prototype testing. I just received and email from Performance fords and it's in they Y-pipe groupbuy post (linked in the post above).

2000 greensvt.. If you don;t have a high flow cat-back exhaust setup I highly recommend you get one before the y-pipe. The y-pipe will creat so much more airflow that backpressure will increase beyond stock levels. Second, remember that the y-pipe (sho) ends up with a 2.5" dia end, so make sure you match it or have a exhaust shop cut out the flange and turn it into a slip on so that airflow will not be impeded from a 2.5" to 2.25" reduction. It is another reason I got the Brullen so that I could have the 2.5" to match.

Cool...the bassani is 2.25..the y pipe is 2.5..It still does mate together but your going to have a diameter difference betweent the y and bassani..so it really would not be "optimized Flow" I know it would be hard but I would cut both flanges out.(sho/Bassani) and have an exhaust shop weld a reduction sleave between the two to get optimum flow.. actually, that sounds like a good idea! but do u really think it would hurt performance if i didn't do it??? I couldn't see it making a huge difference!
