I've been itchin to construct an intake pipe. I've got some ideas but I want your input. What are the pipe dimensions at the ends? 60mm-70mm? What do those measurements convert to in English?
What are your thoughts about using actual exhaust piping like this guy did?

Also using the max size diameter piping to allow for the gromets and the minimal tubing masses in the intake pipe and funneling down at the throttle pipe, like this:
Is there any danger in using aluminized steel in the pipe?
Any input would be great, maybe we can come up with a list of materials and a how-to.
