someone else had posted about a dodge neon that could beat the tour with the head conversion from a caravan
anyone know anything about this such as which neon year make and what caravan they used ((interested))
also which ricer cars that can beat the tour gotta know what to be looking out for

A neon with just a tubo strapped on can run 11's... Hahn's racecraft down the road from me has a neon running a 9.72 quarter. not sure about a head conversion though.

i know the new neon srt(if this is the right trim model for dodge's new svt wannabe performance division) is supposed to be fast as hell. i believe i've heard the fastest massproduction car...something along these lines.

The Neon you're thinking about is the Neon SXT. It comes from the new 'internal-tuner' division withing Daimle-Chrysler, now called 'PVO' ie: Performance Vehicle Operations. PVO is Daimler-Chrysler's take on Ford's SVT, and even, to some extent, BMW's M division (though none of us can really be expected to believe they can compete with BMW!). Though it sounds promising, 'SXT' is really Dodge-speak for 'Value'. The Neon SXT is really just a neon with some new wheels, cladding and badges. The whole drivetrain is exactly the same as the standard-issue, boring neon, and it does a much better job towing grandmas around as a rental car than it will EVER do at beating my 'tour. And minivan heads??????!!!! :rolleyes: Sure.....Anyone ever hear of the Fish carburator?
I guess when you're stuck with a neon, you gotta try anything.
