Just completed-
The upside-down license plate mod !

Resonator is a 'pre-muffler' of sorts.. located between the cat and muffler on the V6 Contiques. Wish I hadnt done mine.

I think it's really there as a sound deadener. It is quite thick (at least mine is), so it would allow more air to pass through the engine bay. In the summer after driving, the hoodliner would be really hot, so I believe there is a heat soak issue here, too.

Because it acts as a heat blanket making the engine bay even hotter. Very bad.

Throttle Hang Fix:

For about $2 you can optimize your TB which provides a nice boost to the mid and upper end on the V6.

The hoodliner is there to act as a "fire-blanket" of sorts as well. If a fire breaks out in the engine compartment the plastic tabs melt and the hoodliner falls to try and put out the fire. At least someone told me that once.. laugh

I am going to polyeruthane the motor mounts, and put shorter screws in the throttle body butterfly plate. Cheap mods.
