I'm in the military (Coast Guard) and sometime during our birthday month, we have to weigh in. That means my beer gut needs a little toning! It's actually a really ridiculus measurement they use: They take your height, I'm 6 ft., measure the diameter of your wrist, mine's 7.5", and then they get a standard number showing what your max weight is. My max weight , before I'm considered "overweight" is, according to them, 217. I'm not at all fat, but I weighed 234 when I started. In Nine days I've lost 12 pounds, and have 5 more to go till Friday morning when I weigh in. I'm on the Carb free Atkins diet. It works real well, but it SUCKS!!!! All you eat is meat and drink water. Nothin else. It's not as easy as it sounds. Hamburg gets real old. No bread, soda, sugar, and absolutely worst of all, NO BEER!!!

I went all weekend without a frosty one. I got Five more pounds to go before Friday, and it's on!!!
