Chris, it cost you $4100 and you did not get Aeroquip braided hoses? But it did include those Carbon steel 90 degree screwed pipe fittings? I must say, I'm not impressed. However I'm not the one that bought it and if you are happy with it, Hey thats great!

I'm interested in the BAT kit. As far as I know thats the only pic of a SVT with that kit. How loaded was your car in the pic? Can you get a pic online that shows it in the sun? How much better is the handling? Was it excessively out of alignment (camber, mainly)? How rough is it... excessively rough?

Oil filter relocation kit, modified - there is really no kit for the 2.5 SVT, so a custom boss (where the oil filter screws had to be made Wrong! Canton makes a universal remote filter kit - I currently have it installed on my car. And the gages in the console are also installed in my car.

Mike, Chris's car retains a 'stock' Ford oil filter with the oil cooler in the remote location. As to the hoses & fittings , the install was done to the customers budget. He intends to upgrade his fittings etc in the future...

However I'm not the one that bought it and if you are happy with it, Hey thats great! Whoa! The fee is broken down between all of the items I had installed at the same time. If you notice my last, I had lots done and the pretty hoses were outside of my budget. You're right, it may not look pretty right now, and I can agree, but no money, means NO MONEY! I am already starting to save up again, to get myself out of the remaining CC debt and to have Terry redo the hoses to make them functional, yet pretty. I had lots done, lots. Terry couldn't believe how much I had asked him to do, in such a tight space. That damned AccuSump is gigantic, it goes down to the about the top of the subframe. It ate up alot of space, thus causing my unique situation, even more unique. No one else here has even attempted to ask Terry to install all of the stuff I had installed. If I didn't have the AccuSump, then it would have looked alot prettier, but alas, I need the insurance.

I'll tell you right now, I bought a kit for the Contour. I wanted to keep my original filter and cooler b/c I thought they were the most efficient, plus I had to stay within budget. Well, the kit was for a ZETEC, not a Duratec. Terry had a machine shop make some modifications to my oil filter boss, combined with a non-SVT oil filter boss for the whole thing to work properly. He is actually trying to design some sort of kit for anyone that wants to buy this. The way the relocation head worked on my car is this, the plate adapter is on the block, then two hoses goes to the relocation head. On the head is the SVT OE cooler, then the oil filter. Simple, yet efficient. But, behind the scenes there was a great deal of work involved to make it all work correctly so I can retain my stock oil filter. Easy to change the oil, and easy to buy a new filter.

I am happy, and unhappy with the kit. The car is much flatter in cornering, so I am very happy about that. But, it lowered my car more than I expected. The front is down about 1.25-1.5" and the rear is down about 1-1.25". Actually, when I compared my SVT to Jessman's SVT at the last PA-CEG meet, his back end was a bit higher than mine. The ride is rougher than my stock SVT suspension, but its very tolerable. The benefits totally outweight the cons, and I have been happy with it. I'll see if I can get some more pix, its tough as I don't have a digital camera.

Also, You may in the future install quick disconnect fittings for that "just in case" moment or for cleaning purposes. Overall, I think your setup is very nice.

Holy cow! I can't believe all the stuff Terry offers! I thought he just did stuff on the side? Terry, do you have a catalog of all your services? LOL So far I'm aware of *upcoming* turbo kits, aussie bars, quaife's, etc. Oh, and how do you list the ability to install anything? Would that be in the miscellaneous section? On second thought I'll just wait for the "How to Build up a Duratec" by Terry Haines to come out in publication. LOL
Seriously, is there a list of products/services offered by HMS inc?
