So, how does that Accusump really work... Do you need to flip a switch to pre-oil before starting the car up? Can your g/f still drive it or is it gonna run dry / explode if someone less knowledgeable has to drive it?

The car is on, its ready to go, all automatically. I know I would forget to open a manual valve. Simple yet effective!

Looks great Simon, I would like to get you pix, but the damn thing is burined by the lube manifold. Plus, I still don't have a digital camera. I'll see what I can do though, it may take me some time.

The install looks a little rough around the edges if you know what I mean. Was this the first install Terry did of all of this stuff? Needs a little more work in the aesthetics department, i.e, running hoses, ty-wraps not organized, etc. As long as it all works once he gets better tubes, will it be cleaned up? That trans manifold have a bracket that goes on it? Hummmmmm, looks like Mario and Luigi's plumbing nightmare!

I too am not happy with all of that mess, but little by Terry and I working on cleaning it up. I mean, he is going to redesign the manifold and mount it further down and out of the way. I will be changing the hoses to all Aeroquip hoses with the proper fittings to make it neater and have hopefully have shorter runs of pipe. I am also going to repaint the silver where it flaked off the chasis, where the battery tray used to be. But, my main concern so far is to get everything working properly and quiety. The tranny lube pump is loud! It is mounted on rubber isolaters, but still vibrates like no other. I am going to remount the pump (if I can get my paws up there) and use bigger isolaters and box up the pump. Of course, I don't want to cover the pump's vents. This is almost becoming a R&D project here. Thanks for the responses, keep them coming!
