I'm new so I was wondering what all is change between the normal 2.5 duratec and the svt high output.I'm pretty sure that the headers are differant but what else? confused

Well, a lot, actually. I would recommend using the search function... wink

The differences are:

-upper and lower intakes extrude honed/larger ports
-extrude honed heads
-hotter camshafts
-more advanced spark curve/tuned for 91 octane
-19lb injectors vs 16.7lb
-higher compression pistons
-conical air filter/air box/air tube
-larger throttle body
-slight differences in the exhaust manifolds (a little better flow)
-2.25" quasi-dual exhaust vs. single 2" pipe

Probably missed something, but that's a pretty good start...

Other stuff on SVT:

- Flywheel is 12 Lbs. lighter
- Crank is hand selected
- Extra oil cooling
- Different motor mounts maybe ??

Actually thats:

- Flywheel is 2 Lbs. lighter
(19 vs 21 IIRC)

thanx didn't realize there are that many differances.it seems like the block is the only thing that stayed the same. eek
