Man, It's been a busy last couple of days.

The bat "remote air" filter kit showed up tonight along with the bat pipe and my APEXi SAFC. I didn't feel like jacking up up to pull the wheel and fender liner tonight, so i just tackled the filter and pipe tonight.

I have to say the pipe is a P.O.S. , well not the pipe so much as the lack of any hose extensions or elbows or anything. It is simply not possible to connect the pipe up on an SE without extending the IAC hose and the vent from the front bank, both are about an inch to short. There were also no clamps included for the IAC hose, or the vent hoses. So.. i had to ditch the pipe for tonight and just install the filter.

All i can say at this point is WooHoo! I picked up the gains from the filter and the catback all at once. The shape of the filter and the diffuser in the end of the cone seem to make it sound like a wastegate when you let off the throttle and there is a hint of turbine like whistle at 75%-100% throttle.

I'll be doing the plugs (taking johns advice and getting something other than the +4's as i don't want to have to do them agian any time soon), wires, snorkle hose, pipe, and maybee the apex this weekend, so It looks like i won't make the gatherings this time around.

Lotta work, but it is comming together nicely laugh

awesome man. Sounds good bro!

That Apexi will really help you dial in a few more hp. Why do you have to pull the wheel and fender well cover though?

Have you got the snorkle hose put on yet because I couldn't get the fender lining to go back on because the hose was so big

I haven't gotten around to trying to install the hose yet. I've been busy playing with my Apexi SAFC. Did you follow the inclosed instructions on routing? They mentioned removing the battery which is why i haven't bothered with it yet. Also they mention routing the hose back into the engine bay from the inside of the fender (not the end that connects to the filter). Where did you try to mount the cool air end of the hose? Fog light opening maybee?

No I tried to take the hose to the lower front grill and I routed it through the hole where the air snorkle came out and down through the fender well and out to the front grill because I didn't want to remove my fog lights but I couldn't get the fender liner back on because the hose was in the way.
