Sales meeting tomorrow night- sorry.
Taking off the emblems is a piece of cake if you take some fishing line and do a sawing motion back and forth to peal them off. Goo-gone, WD40, etc will make taking the foam crap off the paint easier but a spatula (I used my finger- will work easily too).
I spliced into the turn signal wires at the back of the headlights to make it easier and burg did a nice clean job so I would recommend that for your install.
Go to home depot and buy the 3M outdoor double sided tape. Its waterproof and sticks like a mofo. Spend the extra couple of dimes on the 3M stuff- cheaper tape will not last. Cut into the shape of the back of the lense.
The best advice I can give you is to use a dremel and take about half the material off the back of the lense themselves with a sandpaper wheel. You will need to really decrease the diameter of the cynlinders to get them into the existing holes.
Take your time and be prepared to do a lot of test fitting. You may be surprised by a couple of things:
1. How much you have to dremel off (ask burg or john about the side by side comparo I showed them)
2. How many times you may have to test fit
3. The holes on your car may be slightly different sizes
4. Once you put the lense on the socket with the bulb- its hard to get off so do that only when your ready to mount and wire them. You will know the lenses are on there good when you feel a little pop into place.
Whew
Bottom line- take your time and have fun with it. I would recommend waiting until the weekend to give yourself time to take breaks and do a really good job. I dremeled the markers the night before so I could focus on the install the next day.
