Hello everyone im a newbe to this forum. Anyway i live in Gwinnett co. And i do paint & body work by trade. So here the story goes.
I was in the market for a wrecked car to repair and drive and i came upon a 98 Contour. Yes its a basic LX but it has the 2.5 litre and if all goes well i may take the rebuild to the extreme. Who knows ?
Oh well i just thought i would introduce myself. I look foward to hearing everyones advice. Later folks.
98 LX, Eibach`s .... ICWrims / Potenza`s.... Svt kit w /duals... BASF Extreme Ocean paint( complete color change).... Bullit gas door.... Fuba DSM rear mount roof antenna.... Pre 98 trunk.... Blacked out headlamps, W/ Eyebrows.... A6 Side markers.... Shaved antenna and deck lid lock... 4 wheel disc brake conversion.... Magnaflow resinator.... SVT gauge cluster....(Yes the SVT gauge has a O/D light).... Complete mesh grill treatment, Not gutter guard.... Titinaum window tint.... Burgman custom Power window & lock conversion.... More to come as soon as i complete this one. Yeah its a LX but it has a 2.5 and it looks better then your ricer

Hey Alan!
Can?t wait to see the Contour man... I?ll swing by the shop next week and check it out. As far as painting the car, I really like that chrome-candy apple that you guys painted the Suburban. Also, we are working out the plans for a meet in January... hope to see ya out there.
Georgia guys... This is the guy that did the bodywork and paint on my SVT. His shop does top notch work as can be seen on my car. This is the shop that fixed the original body shops ass-like work.
Great to have you on board!

Awesome!!!! A body expert!!! And a CEG enthusiast too!! Nice to meet you man! Your shop's up on Buford right? I need some body work done....just very minor stuff...I broke my right side skirt, and there's a crack in my rear bumper....Jason tells me your the guy to see!! We are planning a meet sometime in January...hope you will consider joining us.

I have a dent right under the wing, and it cracked the decorative panle that runs along the panel (with the silver top part),,I hope It can be pushed back out,,I sealed the area with some clear silicone.
where is this body shop? I live on Buford and pleasant hill

Its called extreme rainbow color shifting paint. Now i need some rims cheap. Anyone got any ? :p

Hey ITISEYE,
I have just recently dented my hood and my friend and I have done all the body work on it but now I just need to get it painted. Maco qoated me 200 bucks, think you can do any better than that? It is just the ford jet black color and it is only the hood which i could leave with you guys for a couple of days. If the price is fair you will defently be seeing me in your shop over the next couple days

Hey Chris sorry it took me so long to respond. Ive been busy workink on project LX LOL. Anyway in an attempt to answer your question amout your hood.
You and get work done cheap, but Maco cmon man. Thats the bottom of the bucket in the bump shop business. But we all have limited resources . But dont do something that will most lokely deminish the value of your ride. Bite the bullet and get it done right.
On the average a minor ding along with painting wet sanding buffing tax tag & title goes for around 4 or 500 Bucks on the low side. But come by and see me maby i can try to work with you. (5426 buford highway )

What other places are you near? Do you know where Z Atlanta or Pull Apart is on buford hwy? I want to try to stop by tomorrow before i go to work, so i can get a quote on paint as the body work is already done
