Well, the thing about it Perry is that you guys came off like know it alls at the drag strip. I did appreciate the advice, but I was icing the intake before you guys got there. And the reason I ran a better time was due to a good launch as much as it was your suggestions. I mean I tried to talk to JVT about his car, but its like he didn't hear me. None of you guys heard me. You just came off like "Man, your car would be so much faster if you did this and this like I did." You may not have realized it or intended to, but that's what happened. I didn't argue with you about pushing the car, but I didn't ask you to either. And I said thanks too. It was nice and I did appreciate it. But I was really disappointed that you guys were telling me to do all this crap and you didn't even race yourselves. It was like you guys were at a car show critiquing my car and you weren't listening to a word I had to say anyway.

As for the "officialness" of the SE CEG, you may not realize it, but you really do give off an air of superiority about the whole meet thing. I guess you probably didn't mean to, but that was the impression you gave to me and to others. We could tell you were dissatisfied with the meet, but some folks thought it was rude the way you guys took off to the ford place while people were still eating. The organizer was just trying to please everyone. Hell, we wanted to do something else besides hang in the parking lot, but we couldn't get a consensus from anyone about where to go. Guess that's what happens with a large group. Jetting didn't exactly foster good feelings with those that planned the event when you guys took off and blew us off.

I guess my point is that I know you are heavily involved with contour enthusiasts, but sometimes I think that enthusiasm is misguided. Like here....I really thought it was rude the way you informed this guy about the SE forum. There is a way to handle that message in a softer manner.

No offense, because I know you probably don't mean to, but you can sometimes come off like a jerk, but hey so can I (and probably already have). No hard feelings, man, but I just wanted to make you aware about how you can come off on the boards, and occasionally in person. Sorry for the confusion on the last post.
