Oooh, something I know a little about, having lived along the border and bought fuel at PEMEX. Here's everything you wanted to know about PEMEX fuel but were afraid to ask! NOVA used to be PEMEX's leaded fuel line. They added the name NOVA when they introduced unleaded fuel in Mexico. Today NOVA no longer has lead but it is the bare bottom basic "barely-call-it" gasoline. So at the local PEMEX station there's NOVA (86 or lower octane unleaded in blue pumps), MAGNA SIN (87 midgrade unleaded in green pumps), PREMIUM (92 octane unleaded in red pumps) and last but not least, Diesel (comparable to US #2 diesel, in purple pumps). The rule is never by "NOVA" or you'll do just that!

You guys are missing the worst of 'em. Nissan has the market cornered, best as I can tell. Have you driven a...
Bluebird?
Fairlady?
Skyline?
...lately?
The Japs seem to have a hard time coming up with names in English that WORK in English.

That "Chevy no go" myth is so old, I can't believe they are still teaching it! And, just because it's in a school class doen't mean it's 100% true.
Also, the Contour name refered to the shape of the car. But, I think "Mystique" was dumb since it could easilly be called "Mistake".
And any "made up by a computer" name like Achieva is the worst.
