Questions regarding tint:

1 - Is this stuff any good?

2 - If it is, would 500 sq. ft. tint my car and a Focus ZX3?

Darrel I hope you aren't planning on tinting your own windows..........

No disrespect intended. I just think you ought to leave tinting to the professionals. I have seen way to many "home jobs" that totally ruin the look of the car. Just my 2 cents.

And I ain't doing it myself!!! Just that you have to order a certain quantity, and a buddy asked me if it was worthwhile if I'd be willing to split the cost and have someone (maybe DARKERIMAGE) do the labor.

I will certinly tint your veh with this film-
however I will charge you the same amount as if you did not bring your own film and I nor huperoptic will back your film for any warranty issues you may have-

you will certinly bbe safe with 500 sq ft of film are there like 10 other cars that want to get in on this deal with you and your zx3 friend? or did you plann on keeping the xtra for stripping and retinting purposes?-over-and over- and over?- you will need about 40sq ft per car- not quite the size of film you will need offered there.

am I safe in assuming you and your buddy are wanting this perticular brand of film because you saw them push it at the carwash- and they washed the car with good soap //so they must tint with really good tint--

guess if your asking for my personal history with benladen-- opps I mean huper Optic films I would have to say no I would not recoment the use of this film-- and if you would like even more personal info on this film or witch film to use on your car --or home just ask I would love to dig on this film even more- I have lots more issues with it..

I really find that funny because I have a profession that more than one CEGer has needed help with and ya know how much I've charged them? Zip - nada - null (aside from a few beers). Really, I wasn't looking for a huge price break or anything, but why don't you just come right out and say what you're implying here...you don't wanna do business. Fine with me. Tint shops are a dime a dozen out here. I'm sure you're no different.

um....while that's not exactly the response I was looking for I'll tell you this: I'm asking because I was asked by my coworker if I knew anything about it. I didn't but knew you could tell me straight up whether or not it was worth a damn. Thanks for that info, but you can take your condescending tone and shove it.

Did I praise it as the best stuff on Earth? No. Did a act like I even knew anything about it? No.

That's what happens when someone asks you a question regarding your field of expertise and you kick dirt in their face and act like they're a moron.

sorry if you do not respond well to sourcasm- I will note this for future references- I felt it was almost a joke - as this film is a house film not an autom,otive film- and I could not even find a good/best film within 1/2 that price-
a 60 inch roll of film costs me at most $450.00

2ndly i have lost probley 4-5 tint jobs to this crap film in the last 2-3 months because people are a sucker to this type of high pressure sales- and then throw in a few dealer names and you have just sold a tint job for twice the value and then they pay some immigrant $20-$30 to put it on - whom has been doing it for 3-4weeks now -- and off the customer goes- bad film and bad install hand in hand--

however I will charge you the same amount as if you did not bring your own film -------- sorry for how it was taken- but I would not want anycredit for the film so I was saying I would give you the same film (best) as I would anyone else- not some wah-hooper-optic-crap-
