Well, it's been a week and 800 miles on the new Nitto's. So far I am not very satisfied with them. They are a great touring tire. Nice and quiet and smooth as compared to my KDW's. Straight line grip is good. This, however, is compared to my KDW's that had 30k miles on them and were hard as rocks from the heat. Corning is friggin rediculous though. They grip ok in the corners but the transition from corner to corner is horrible. If I do a fast transition the tires take a second or two to catch up with the cars body. The tire roll is so far unacceptable. I think I got what I paid for which is a relatively inexpensive tire. I bought these to hold me over until I could purchase a wheel and tire package in January but I dont think i will be putting Nitto's on the new set. I know DDAVIS has these on his new ride, anyone else used them? Let me know what you guys think.

Had them on a Talon a long time ago...not too thrilled with them.

If it's true that we are here to help others, then what exactly are the others here for?

I've noticed a lot of what you're saying, Ryan. Especially the part about opposing weight transition and the tires responding slowly. However, part of that (for me, at least) is due to the extra contact patch I'm dealing with. If I was running OEM size I may not even have that issue.

I was running crap tires before these, so anything's a step up. I do feel more confident tossing the car into a corner, though; I just have to "learn" how the car responds to get the best possible lines out of it.

I'll find out tonight if the tires were part of my sorry launches last time at the track. I'm shooting for a 2.4 or better 60' - wish me luck!!

I have these on my car. I definitely noticed the quieter ride. I'm pretty satisfied with them, but I don't push my car much either.
