I'll email you this info, warmonger, but I'll throw it out here in case anyone else needs it. You'll need to know where you're going. Coming into Phoenix on I-10, you'll want to stay on it until you reach the West side of Phoenix and the 101 Loop (you'll pass it on the East side, also. Ignore that one.) Take 101 N. until you reach Grand Ave. (Highway 60). Take a left (West) and follow Grand until you get into BFE. I think Happy Valley Road is the place to turn off, but check SpeedWorld\'s Website for better details about where to turn and stuff. Entrance is $15 to run, $10 to watch. Other than some food and drinks, that's the only cost you'll be out. Find Po-Jay and myself in the pits. Him - silver SVT. Me - Black SE. I don't have a personal cell # to give you, but I'm sure Jason will give you his. I'll get you the info on the on the pulse as soon as I can. I'll have to see if Keith has a meter that can measure the pulse. I'm sure it's a squarewave pattern that it creates. I'll also measure the tire diameter as well. Thanks a bunch!

Someone get email me to coordinate.
DDavis, I drew up another circuit to defeat the speed governor, but I need to know some information before it is proven accurate. Do you know what the signal from the trans looks like? I assumed it is a square wave that pulses once for every wheel rotation. If you have a meter that can measure frequency, then you could jack up one wheel, put the car in gear, and measure the frequency at a certain speed, like 20 mph. That will tell me what frequency to set the circuit at. While you are at it, I need to know the circumference of your wheel. Just use a tape measure around it so I know how many rotations the wheel makes at certain speeds. If you give me this info, then I can finish the schematic and mail it to you.
warmonger this reminds me of some stuff i used to think about at ITT Tech.

Here\'s my story. I wasn't worried about my diff - it just laughs at the Zetec anyway.

Well, I didn't blow my Diff. I did give my 2nd gear synchronizer a haircut though. I have to face the facts that drag racing takes practice! And right now I suck! I did three runs. Here is what I posted in the Dyno Drag forums under DemonSVT's "New times" post. I went to the drag races last night for the first time with Pojay and DDavis. I must say I had a great time despite the 300 mile round trip.
Anyway, I didn't do that well. In my very first ever run, I ran an embarrassing run, but I did better on the next two runs. I'm going to list the times, but don't anyone laugh just yet. I have done nothing to reduce weight other than my headers. I am running with a full spare tire, speaker box with 4 10" woofers, 4 heavy midrange speakers, amps, junk food and soda bottles, even laptop and 100 cd's in the back seat.
Run 1: 16.645 at 88.088 with a RT of 1.316 and 2.462 60' I bogged down and missed second gear, I really smoothed out my synchronizer! (I was nervous, 1st ever run, remember?) Run2: 15.674 at 91.469 with RT - 1.495 and 2.55 60' (No missed gears though I shifted slow after grinding 2nd in the first run) Run 3: 15.560 at 91.419 with RT - 1.435 and 2.413 60' I was getting a bit more confident after the other two runs. ****ty bogged down take-offs on all three runs.
That was all the runs I could get before they closed the track. I think It would improve if I could do the launch right. Basically, its just like I am doing a 10 mph rolling start.
I just need training...when I get to MO, I am going to look you up and take some lessons. A better driver would certainly be in the 14's in this car.
Now I know exactly how difficult it is to properly launch one of these cars. Kudo's to you guys in the 14 second club.
warmonger LOL, I guess I was hoping for something better for my 'Last Hurrah' with the Southwest Forum.

I guess this thread got no attention. I was expecting some jeering for my pathetic drag racing skills at the least.
BTW, I am now in Ft. Leonard Wood MO, so I won' be seeing you guys unless I come to visit. Audios and thanks for the fun.
