How did the tear-down go? Did you run into any problems I should know about? What parts did you have to get (gaskets, etc.)? I plan on doing some cleaning soon - leaving the secondaries alone, though. Gimme input! Thanks!

Great! I am pleased. I removed my butterflies, but may(after a dyno run) replace them or remove the rod that they attach to. It is still in the works.

Did you end up taking the LIM off?

Nope... I should have, in order to avoid alot of stress. I used a magnet, screwdriver, and a hammer. I figured that it was easier to work with it on the car. Next time, rather than chance the parts falling into the head, I will remove the LIM. The end justifies the means!

Cool. Just curious how it went for you? How were your butterflies? Nasty?

They were REALLY nasty. They were funkier than the Isley Brothers! I have photos but no where to put them, so I can show them on the board. I sat then in a cup of Simple Green and now they are sparkling. I am def thinking that in the next month or so, I will remove the rods in the LIM. It makes too much sence.
