Thanks for the fair response and inquiry.

There are many differences between the Baer kits and my own. Thus the difference in costs. Please understand that I'm not putting down their product in any way.

The package I have at this time is a fixed mount, four piston (or six) caliper avaialble on various sized rotors. Rotor options, and pad options abound. It's my opinion and experience that four pistion calipers provide much more reliable and efficient pedal feel as well as improved clamping power. The Baer kits are, as we all know, a fine version of the PBR floating caliper and it's shortcomings tend to be; pad options, rotor options, clamping force, and replacement parts costs. Still the basics meet the needs of many customers thus they are quite well regarded.

My products can be fairly 'slotted in' between their lower priced PBR kits and their upper end Alcon products. Basically all the quality properties of their Alcon kits apply to my Wilwood based products except for the cost. In fairness, the calipers used on my base kits are not to the level of the Alcons in some ways, but still ahead of the PBRs. Review their info on the Alcon kits and you'll see that my pricing is very competitive. Yes, I can up the ante to a higher level, but do you really want to spend $3K on a kit? I can sub calipers in the $800ea range, but doubt you'd ever know the difference between this and the ones I'm currently offering unless you are a race car driver/owner/participant. If so, you wouldn't be asking these questions....

You can review my past kits, or reputation for producing quality products at a fair price (keep in mind my goal is to make a living however, not support your needs!) by reviewing the SHO Forums and SHOtimes as well as the Impala SS clubs etc. etc.

The finished products in a price range of $1000-1500 range is an empty void in my mind that I feel I can fill. You can spend say $800 or you can spend $2500 on a 'top of the line' product but very little in between. It's simply my intention to work in that market. And the response to this product price range appear to be fine for my level of production. I don't sell dozens of kits a month even, but usually enough to pay the bills and when you need help I'm there to offer it.

All that being said, I STILL NEED A LOCAL car owner interested in helping out for a test subject.

I've got a couple of out of state customers but a local is always more of a help.

BTW, you can of course always drop by and visit to review the offerings, just call ahead please as I'm often out for the weekend with racing activities. And as for the price being Brembos, well I don't know of any Brembo kits with calipers that are under $2500! Maybe I'm wrong.
