I say we go to this place. It's usually pretty happening. yea, most of the cars are gonna be muscle cars but wouldnt it be sweet to have a bunch of contours all in a row. West Side Contouro's!!!!

Are you guys talking about the Good Guys car show??? I have gone for the last two years. it is a good show, but is only deals with Rods and Customs (73 and older I believe). I think that for the group, the Pavillions is a better choice. We could set up our own area and show our cars. They take all types there. That is the one off of Pima rd, right? The one by the McDonalds???

the pavillions. that's where I want to go. Pima and Indian Bend. Take the 101 to Indian bend and it is immediately off the freeway next to the mcdonalds. There are always people there, we can set up an area just for our cars and there is no admission fee. Let's all think back to the last two drives we had. There really aren't any twisties here in metro phx. Only straights. That's cool for about 10min. I dont really want to get a ticket doing 120 on the beeline so I say we park it at the pavillions. Pop the hoods and let em drool. We have some nick friggin cars in our Southwest Forum so there is nothing to be ashamed of in showing them off with other muscle cars. From what I understand there are quite a few Honda types there too so perhaps we could set up a deserted road drag with some of them.

I agree. That is the ticket. I will hopefully have new tires for our adventure. I have an appt at Big O in the morning on Thursday. I have worn my Dunlops thin. Time to try Kumho's.

BTW the car show is at Westworld. It costs 10 bones, I think. Again, the Pavilions is the way to go.
