Hey guys,
I was wondering if you all have ever seen or heard about this on a Contour? You know that nasty seam between the license box and the trunk lid? I blended that together this morning. It only took about an hour and a half, but it looks sweet. My buddy is bringing over his digital camera and I'll try to post pics later on.

Hey,
Convertible, eh.....seriously, I was thinking about that. But, with the contour being a unibody, don't you think it would weaken the stucture too much? The other drawback is the doors. They have a complete frame around the window, and I wouldn't know how to go about fixing that, any ideas. Also, I had thought about an old school rag top, like you see on VWs. Simple, affordable ($500-600), and almost convertible. I need to finish my body work and get into a paint shop...I got a really cool scheme I want laid down. A little teaser...creamy orange, vivid blue and some highlights of polished sheet metal peeking out. Whaddya think?

Definitely a better thatn Maaco/Earl Scheib job!! I'm gonna lay down the primer, let the paint shop do the orange, and I'm going to finish up the blue and polished pieces. Hopefully I can get some cash saved up to spray it soon.
