Bingo. The "Cloud Cars" are the worst current cars on the road (as far as names go). I remember when Chrysler was getting ready to introduce them, they had come up with Cirrus and Stratus and needed a 3rd name similar to the others. They were actually taking suggestions from the general public IIRC. Duh, Nimbus you idiots. I think they decided that Nimbus clouds were "too mean" (i.e. nobody that ever lived through a thunderstorm in a trailer park would ever buy one) so they chose Breeze. Nice: cloud, cloud, not a cloud. Good job sticking to the theme. :rolleyes:
My vote for worst name in a discontinued car line is
Mercury Zephyr. I mean, come on. They named a car after another vehicle that isn't a car. And it wasn't even a big car to boot. (Of course, I got smoked by one running 12's but it was packing a 351 Windsor.)
