Over about one year on this forum, the range Ive seen for most stock SVTs is about 160-166 FWHP and about 145-150 FWTourque. Ive seen about 3 dyno at 150-159 and 2 over 170 stock. Not sure how much is dyno/operator variation vs motor variation. So, say a median number is about 163HP & 147 Tourque. If you use a standard conversion of 18% then this works out to 196.3 HP (rated at 195-200 depending on year) and 177.1lb/ft (rated at 169). So, I would say not overrated unless the conversion factor is wrong. I have read that FWD/transverse engine setups are a bit less efficient than longitudinal engine setups.
