Here's my question. Does the SVT loose a ton of hp and tq to the wheels? I've seen about 8 SVTs dynoed at MC Racing in Kansas City. I believe I saw a variety of 98-00 models get dyoned and every single one of them had mod to some degree. The lowest dynoed at 150 fwhp (he had 17" Momo Racer wheels which are EXTREMELY heavy) and the highest dynoed SVT made 166 fwhp (OUTLAWD, Robbie). So if this is the case assuming an intake makes about 5 fwhp with the hood (210hp), the SVT is loosing approximately 20% through drivetrain? I believe the torque to the wheels was in the 150-155 ft/lb range.
Does anyone here think the SVT might be overrated in power a little? It's pretty rare that a manual looses 20%, especially in FWD. The reason I say this is because my Maxima made 176fwhp (decent) and 194fwtq (really good) on the same day which equals about 205hp and 225 tq at the fly assuming 15% loss (stock is rated at 190hp/205tq). My hp numbers are pretty consistent with what others have gotten with the same mods. My tq numbers are about 5% higher than the others though.

What do you guys think? Maybe our dyno shop has slightly lower numbers than some others?
