As for insurance...AAA classifies SVT as a mid-size family sedan...NOT a performance vehicle, and thus no additonal fees...I could expect to pay about the same for a Chrysler Cirrus or Toyota Camry or Honda Accord (bit less for Toyoat and Honda...seems japanese cars get slightly lower insurance rates to comparable US cars)

I have Allstate insurance. I don't know how much of an increase, but my agent did ask me what trim level. I don't complain, though because I have excellent rates, all things considered.

According to the Ford Factory Service CD. The 2000 model year is rated at:

205HP(151KW) @ 6700rpm
229NM(169.2TQ) @ 5500rpm

It's a CD so I can't scan it (well I could but I doubt it would help ) However; gimme a sec and I'll do a screen capture.

If you're in a war, instead of throwing a hand grenade at the enemy, throw one of those small pumpkins. Maybe it'll make everyone think how stupid war is, and while they are thinking, you can throw a real grenade at them.

Dad always thought laughter was the best medicine, which I guess is why several of us died of tuberculosis.

So at the flywheel it was still 225HP and at the wheel it was 205HP?

but really now, how many people would buy cars based on "real wheel" HP numbers???
