As for insurance...AAA classifies SVT as a mid-size family sedan...NOT a performance vehicle, and thus no additonal fees...I could expect to pay about the same for a Chrysler Cirrus or Toyota Camry or Honda Accord (bit less for Toyoat and Honda...seems japanese cars get slightly lower insurance rates to comparable US cars) I have Allstate insurance. I don't know how much of an increase, but my agent did ask me what trim level. I don't complain, though because I have excellent rates, all things considered.

According to the Ford Factory Service CD. The 2000 model year is rated at: 205HP(151KW) @ 6700rpm 229NM(169.2TQ) @ 5500rpm It's a CD so I can't scan it (well I could but I doubt it would help ) However; gimme a sec and I'll do a screen capture.

That scan works for me ------------------ Joey 2000 SVT Black #1811 of 2150 MODERATOR www.svtperformance.com If you're in a war, instead of throwing a hand grenade at the enemy, throw one of those small pumpkins. Maybe it'll make everyone think how stupid war is, and while they are thinking, you can throw a real grenade at them.

Dad always thought laughter was the best medicine, which I guess is why several of us died of tuberculosis.

So at the flywheel it was still 225HP and at the wheel it was 205HP? Originally posted by Toadster: actually in '93 the GT was rated at 205HP... (the more realistic numbers)
but really now, how many people would buy cars based on "real wheel" HP numbers???
