Hey Non-Spring Zing Go-ers-
This was the greatest weekend...I would like to say that the people who attended the autocross were so nice and very trustworthy.

I would like to thank Mark Rowe and Chris Smith who made this all possible...I don't think that i will ever forget racing around the crapiest oval track at gilmore auto museum.

I think the best and most memorable part of sprind zing is when we were all sitting around our cars at the gilmore auto museum and our tour guide was handing out pamphlets about the history and what goes on at the museum. So anyways i was looking at an arial picture and i noticed there was a Oval Track on the gilmore auto museum grounds.
So I went and asked the tour guide what it was used for and if we could run around it a little and he replied "keep it under 100 mph"
So as the entusiasts that we all are we took him literal...So i went over and spotted the track and so i had about 5-7 laps to myself which was really fun I was really pushing the svt. So then i realized that there was 2 other cars on the track...so i immediatley slowed down...
We eventually only went one at a time and it was very fun to throw the cars around this crappy little track.
We do have video footage of this great event and hope to get them on the forum and maybe get the flyby footage on the boards too...

what a great weekend...

They pick on him, even when it is me that is doing the moving and deleting

I was there too, and it was really great. Kalamazoo is a really different place compared to my downtown Dallas living. My wife works for a relocation comany that transfers a lot of people to Kalamazoo. Mainly Pharmacia. We stopped by a tourist shack and picked up so much stuff that we will be able to make the whole trip a tax writeoff

Hey Air, I saw you and waved to you. I don't think you knew who I was. I was in a T-Red Tour, and I only saw you once or twice afterwards.
I got pics of you AutoXin' though I'll get those up soon!

PHEW!! Thank god that is over... Now I can sleep normally again. I appreciate all the compliments for SZ, as well as Mark Rowe and Chris Smith would be as well. I guess it is time to take some R&R for a bit before hitting the books again for next year. THis time I think we'll get more response from people when we ask questions for next year, I hope.

Chris Hightower: How was the plane trip? Man, you need to come up some other time... Get a CEG paintball meet... that would be SWEET!

It was worth the 5+ hour drive!!, even though I screwed up on the time zone change. That Damn tree in the banquet room fell on me 2 times, so I will remember to bring a chainsaw with me next time. I came with my SVT, and my friend brought his SHO. He was dissapointed that there weren't that many SHO's there. I also wish that the events wouldn't have conflicted with each other because I would have liked to done all of the things. I also think that next time there shoould be a 1/4 mile run, because I think that a lot of people would get involved in that!! Overall it was a really good time, my thanks to everyone that made this work.
