qaz Member Q Joined: Jul 2000 Posts: 1,461 Manassas, VA USA	I used to think my Contour used about 1 quart every 4K. Until I saw the mess on the backside of the engine. Now I think it's a valve cover gasket leaking. It doesn't drip when parked, but a valve cover would only leak while running. Brian
