The SVT vs. SE mounts are the same dimensionally, but it is a heavier mount via the torque limiting rubber in the mount. The hole thru the mount is dimensionally the same as well. The SVT mount fits just fine, but my question is more about the design of the mount than the new mount fitting. I'm not sure if mount is really accurate. Looking at the car the "mount" seems to be more a torque limiter. I still am perplexed about the design though, with the horizontal bolt O.D. being so much smaller (-3x)than the mount I.D. It's such a temptation to bush the mount to fit the bolt, but I'm not sure if that would cause any negative effects. Being an engineer, I know things are designed a cetain way for a reason, but I don't see the reasoning behind this design. If I can't find a satisfactory answer, I'll just install the SVT mount/urethane insert and be happy!
