had to dig up an old Kit Car magazine for this one (no comments...)

"Oil frothing is a problem in a high performance engine, so a large finned C.B. oil separator was installed in the right rear fender. This turns the foam into liquid again and returns it to the sump."

Of course, this was on a vw based kit with a turbo, but food for thought nonetheless.
