I been think about this problem a lot. If lets say 100 V6 contour's have blown their engines that is still a very small number compaired to total number produced. I think there are something like 4,000 SVT contours and if 100 blow their motors that's only 2.5% which would be an "acceptable" number.
These are just ramblings so please get in my face about the numbers, I just guessing production numbers.

The comment about weekend racing was like a light coming on in my head. I just never really gave it much thought but guess what guys, when your at the track watching a car go around or watching it on TV you did not see all hours spent fixing blown rods, ground up bearings and blown gaskets.
