OK, I have tried to understand what the causes are for the excessively high number of blown SVT engines we have read about on the forum. I understand the oil pan baffle, hard prolonged right turn issue, etc.
What I am still trying to understand, is do we know if there is a correlation between using synthetic oil and the blown engines? I tseems as if everyone I have seen reported, was using Mobil 1.
Is this a fluke, or do we have a "foaming" problem with the Mobil 1 that does not occur with dino oil? I do a lot of runs where I take the SVT up to 135-140 so I don't want a "nasty" surprise of synthetic is the wrong way to go.
